Character Sheet:
Name: Horus
Human Name: Heru Bahur
Domain: The name "Horus" is a general catchall for multiple deities, the most famous of whom is Harseisis (Heru-sa-Aset) or Horus-son-of-Isis (sometimes called Horus the Younger) who was conceived after the death of his father, Osiris, and who later avenged him. In all the Horus deities the traits of kingship, sky and solar symbology, and victory reoccur. As the prototype of the earthly king, there were as many Horus gods as there were rulers of Egypt, if not more.
Specifically his domain is: The Sky, The Sun, War, Kings, young boys. He is represented by Hawks, who are his scared animal/bird.
Background: Horus’ life outside of ruling Egypt has been an endless war. He has continually pushed to learn more, fight better, and win. Once a symbol of victory in the ancient times, he still holds himself up to the harsh standards that he feels are expected of him. In the absence of a kingdom to rule, though, Horus has taken on the streets instead.
Now a days he no longer fights in mankind’s wars. He feels that combat is lost in the wake of bombs and guns, and finds no satisfaction in victory any longer. These days he teaches in a dojo instead, educating the young and stubborn about the Asian and Egyptian martial arts. His business has gone well, despite what some people believe to be a dangerous sport, and practice.
